ProAgenda is operated by Prabhkirat Singh, an individual based in India. Contact: prabhkirat05@gmail.com.
Only what the platform needs to work. Specifically:
pa_city), so the news feed can show headlines near you. We do not use GPS or track your location. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your personal information with data brokers.
ProAgenda is a public platform. Please assume anything you post can be read by anyone, including people who are not signed in and search engines.
Two things are deliberately kept private. Reports you file are visible only to moderators, and the person reported is never told who reported them. And your individual votes are not public — you can see your own, nobody else can, and only the totals appear on an agenda. On a platform about contentious local issues, an attributable voting record is how people get pressured out of taking a position.
To be exact about the limit of that: votes are hidden from other users, not encrypted. As the operator of the database, we can see them. We do not use them for anything beyond counting, and we will not disclose how an individual voted except where required by law.
We rely on these services, each of which handles some of your data:
Content you post stays until you or a moderator removes it. Removal is a soft delete: the content stops being visible, but the record is retained so that moderation decisions can be reviewed or reversed. Payment records are kept as long as is required for financial and tax purposes.
You can ask us to:
Email prabhkirat05@gmail.com from the address on your account. We aim to respond within 30 days.
One limit worth stating plainly: deleting your account removes your name and profile from public view, but an agenda that other people have supported and commented on may be retained in an anonymised form, because erasing it would also erase their contributions.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
ProAgenda is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Access to data is enforced at the database level through row-level security, so the rules apply to every request rather than only to the website. Payments are verified using cryptographic signatures. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users promptly if we become aware of a breach involving their data.
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, the contact details of our Grievance Officer are:
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days of receipt.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app.
